Three Air Filtration System

Featuring a 360-degree air circulation, the R600 air purifier cleans up to 2,500 square feet of space with two air exchanges per hour. The multidirectional air distribution also prevents drafts which is a common problem among air purifiers with unidirectional fan louvers. Equipped with an efficient motorized impeller, this Airpura air purifier produces a powerful airflow of up to 560 CFM. It also has an adjustable fan speed that is easily controlled by manually turning the knob on the front of the machine.

1. Pre-Filter – Air first passes through a 570 square-inch pre-filter that effectively removes large particles such as pet dander, dust, dust mites, and pollen. The prefiltration process also helps extend the life of the succeeding filters. Replaceable after 1 year, this filter can be vacuumed and reused multiple times.
2. Activated Carbon Filter – Next, air flows into 18 lbs. of 100% coconut shell carbon filter. This filter has a two-inch activated carbon bed that absorbs odors, tobacco smoke, and chemicals such as formaldehyde, ammonia, benzene, radon, and more. Depending on usage, the carbon filter can be changed every 2 years.
3. True HEPA Filter – Lastly, air goes through the HEPA filter which captures airborne particulates 0.3 microns in size at 99.97% efficiency. This filter is a workhorse and removes the remaining airborne particles that may have survived the previous purification stages such as mold, bacteria, and asbestos. HEPA filters have a lifespan of up to 5 years.

Both the HEPA and carbon filters can be replaced separately helping you save on costs.
