2. 26 lbs. Activated Carbon Filter – Made of 100% coconut shell, the activated carbon filter is three-inch deep and can absorb large amounts of chemical fumes and noxious gases. This filter should be replaced every 24 months under regular use.
3. HEPA Barrier – Gets rid of the remaining particulates and contaminants like dust, dander, and pollen. The HEPA filter traps 95% of airborne particles larger than or equal to 1 micron in size. It can last up to 12 months before needing a replacement.
