The LA2000-oc is the perfect solution to cleanse your surroundings from any unwanted odors. The OC stands for odor control. It removes odors from rooms up to 40' x 40' using a 10lb Activated Carbon filter. In addition, the LA2000-OC eliminates 97% of airborne pollution down to .1 microns. This model is available in both black and white.

Dual Filters for Efficient Functioning

The LA2000-OC has a 5300 square inch electrostatic filter as well as a 10-pound activated carbon filter. These two components work together to deliver exceptional air filtering. Odors are removed from the air by the activated carbon filter while the electrostatic filter works to remove particles of dust and allergens from the air. The air purifier works to remove 97% of all indoor air pollution.

4-Stage Filtration Process

A four-level filtration process stacks together to produce clean, fresh air for you. To begin, a MERV 2 pre-filter is used to remove big particles from the air. This filter is washable and has a lifespan of up to two years. Once cleansed of all the large particles, the particle ionizer charges particles in the airflow. These charged particles are then trapped by aluminum plates. The clean air then passes through the carbon filter where all the odors are sucked out of it leaving clean fresh air for you to breathe.

Activated Carbon for Odor Removal

The LakeAir LA2000-OC's activated carbon filter removes numerous undesirable odors and VOCs from the air. Activated carbon is a type of sorbent. It absorbs toxic gases. Each carbon granule has a vast surface area. This enables the absorption of fumes. To achieve outstanding odor control, a combination of high-grade carbons is used. After the carbon filter has absorbed all of the odor, it must be replaced. A carbon filter cannot be washed and reused.
