The BLUE OX range of air cleaners is meant to benefit the environment. The OX2500 smoke eater captures dust, smoke, oil mist, oil smoke, and other environmental pollutants indoors with high efficacy via carbon filtration. This air filter package may be simply set up and used as a free-hanging unit to remove smoke and haze.

The BLUE OX 2500 smoke eater is constructed of 16-gauge cold-rolled steel finished in polyester powder coating paint. It is available in Black, Blue, or Brown finish to complement the interior of your establishment. Each unit is a self-contained system used individually for smaller tasks or grouped for larger spaces.

Powerful 2,500 CFM Motor

The BLUE OX 2500 air cleaner has a maximum airflow of 2,500 CFM, which means it delivers more air through the filters to reduce particle concentration by as much as 95%. 

Its PSC type 3/4hp direct-drive motor delivers a powerful and highly efficient airflow that produces a sound level of only 62 decibels on high settings. The motor also has automatic restart overload protection for safety. This commercial smoke eater operates at 115V 60Hz single phase, 10.5 amps, and 950 watts power.

Carbon Filtration Effectively Removes Odors

The BLUE OX 2500 has a 4" pleated pre-filter that catches dust and larger particles. According to the atmospheric dust spot test, the micro-glass multi-pocket bag filter has 98% arrestance in removing smoke and other submicron-sized particles from the air.

A 2" 50% bypass carbon filter is also included for light odor control. This type of media filter is a typical example of an adsorption system. There are multiple applications for it, especially in the industry, since it can separate different gases from each other.

Hassle-Free Maintenance

Filters for specific media types may become more efficient as they fill with particles. However, the airflow volume will drop as the filters load up and eventually reach a point where they must be replaced to restore the normal airflow.

One excellent feature of the BLUE OX 2500 smoke eater is the simple air filter replacement since you don't need any tools. You can pull the 4" pre-filter from the unit to install new filters. The primary filter, which is located directly behind the pre-filter, also comes out. This smoke eater's filter media is replaceable. But in some cases, when pollutants are captured dry, it's feasible to blow out the pre-filter and reuse it. 

Long-Term Quality Assurance

All BLUE OX air cleaners have four-way louvers to help you direct the discharge air away from pilot lights or heaters to get the optimum airflow pattern for maximum cleaning. A 3-year warranty is included on all parts besides the filters.
