The unit comes with standard brick shaped humidifiers that you would have to soak in distilled water for humidification in the cabinet. If you are looking for an electric humidifier than we recommend the cigar oasis magna for this cabinet, that you can purchase on our website. Thanks

The shelves are fixed. The trays on the shelves can be removed.

Why do I have to add hydrometer? Doesn’t it come with one?
It does come with one. You can a digital hygrometer on the shelf if you would like.

The Barbatus does not come pre-installed with lighting on the inside.
You may however, install LED lights on the inside.
