The T600 DLX home air purifier comes with felt gaskets to seal the filter chamber and boost purification with no rubber off-gassing. 1. Tar Barrier Prefilter – Acts like a cigarette filter, this prefilter safeguards the carbon bed from premature tar contamination from tobacco smoke. It should be replaced every 6 to 12 months depending on the amount of indoor smoke.
2. 26 lbs. of Enhanced Impregnated Carbon Filter – Made of potassium iodide and coconut shell, the T600 DLX carbon bed is 3" which effectively removes airborne chemicals and odors from tobacco smoke as well as the most common VOCs from household products. This premium activated carbon filter can last up to 24 months.
3. HEPA Barrier – Captures 95% of the remaining pollutants as small as 1 micron from cigarettes, pipes, tobacco as well as dust, dander, and pollen. Replace this post filter every 12 months.
